You’re a working mom who often feels stressed out. You’re exhausted. Maybe you feel like you’re not giving what you want to give to your kids and to your job. Maybe you also feel like you’re regularly running around and yet nothing really gets done. Maybe you don’t have enough energy. You certainly don’t have enough time.

Maybe this sounds all-too familiar.

Working motherhood may be tricky and sometimes complicated. But it doesn’t have to be hard, according to Sarah Argenal, a mom to two boys who writes, speaks, consults and leads interactive trainings on work/life balance, intentional living, and connected family relationships for busy professionals at www.workingparentresource.com.

“Being a working mom can be an adventure, a fulfilling and enjoyable experience—albeit with challenging moments peppered throughout,” Argenal said.

Below you’ll find a variety of practical suggestions to help you minimize stress and savor the adventure.

  • Track and analyze your time.
  • Tune in.
  • Be bad at things.
  • Focus on your energy.
  • Do less.
  • Don’t wait until you’ve got more time.
  • Experiment and reevaluate.

Ketogenic Diet

EXPLORAC

The ketogenic diet (aka keto diet) is a low-carb, high-fat diet that has many health benefits.

It is a diet that causes the body to release ketones into the bloodstream.

This diet forces the body to burn fats rather than Carbohydrates. Normally, the carbohydrates contained in food are converted into Glucose which is then transported around the body and is particularly important in fueling brain function. However, if there is a little carbohydrate in the diet, and only fat is available for the body to burn, the liver converts the fats into fatty acids, and then into compounds called ketones, which can be taken up and used to fuel the body’s cells. A keto diet forces the body into a state called ketosis, meaning that the body’s cells depend largely on ketones for energy. Ketosis is a natural state for the body when it is almost completely fueled by fat.

How to do the keto diet ..?

eat a diet low in carbohydrates, and high in fats,

Stunning India

Jane Gustilo

We travel initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel next, to find ourselves. We travel to learn, to discover, to experience, to escape not to escape life but for life not to escape us.

I have been to different Asian countries back then, but I can say that my trip in India is somewhat exceptional. As I get a chance to be there to witness a friend’s traditional Indian wedding ceremony, I’ve made up a decision of having a little jaunt.

What’s on your mind when you hear India?

Exotic foods, people wearing turbines and yards of clothes, slums, pollution, horrifying stories of harassment and violent rape cases. Just like any other country India has diversity of culture and tradition although we are in the modern days they managed to keep their ancient culture and beliefs on daily basis which is astonishing.

Unforgettable arrival

dav

The time I arrived at the airport of Mumbai, I stayed five more hours and wait for the next flight going to Jaipur, so I went to a coffee shop and wonder why this man(barista) not saying any word. I was shocked as he signed that he is a deaf and mute I have so many questions in my mind how is that possible, how he handles everything and so on, therefore not only in this shop but most establishments like restaurants, massage centers, even the hotel I stayed at has disabled people working like normal staffs, as their government implements The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act of 2016, which protect them from discrimination, ensures them to have equal employment opportunities and enhances their social life. Regardless of the race, physically or mentally challenged people don’t really know how they inspire everyone. Yes, they are not born normal, but they are extra ordinary.

City at its best

An isolated city is very common among any countries, numerous people, endless traffic jams, cacophony of sounds, sky towers and anything that you can imagine what a city looks like. Then again India has different version of it, as wildlife is literally in the city. You may be able to see uncommon animals roaming around like elephants, camels, donkeys, eagles, monkey, cows and so on. The street was so enlivened, I am so astound seeing how human and animals in that state of fondness. My dream going to African wildlife was almost fulfilled.

Explore as much as you can

Striking 45 degrees or more…. would you like to flee and explore? Humidity is terrifying hence I have a strong urge to take a glimpse at the thousand years old royal palaces and their stunning architectural sites. This is once in a lifetime and I don’t want to miss out any chance.

I can’t believe what I am seeing those days of my trip, I am in their royal palaces where royal families used to lived, get to know more about their rich culture, history and tradition, tried wearing saree and mehendi, took a lot of photos with the locals and of course don’t missed any chance to try their dainty foods, 1 or 2 days is still not enough to explore one city, India is really HUGE !

Received with a Thankful Heart

Received with a Thankful Heart I Daily Walk Devotion

Have you noticed that people are getting crazier about their diets? You have to eliminate all the carbs, gluten, and ‭‭processed food. It’s almost as if food has become its own religion. This has left a lot of people confused about what to eat and what not to eat, and it’s easy to twist scripture to support your stance. Peter sifts through it all and makes it easy: “Everything created by God is good as long as it is received with a thankful heart.”
1 Timothy‬ ‭4:4-5‬
“For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.
