Are you a stay at home working mom? Are you tired and stressed especially on trying to get out of the rat race? Do you want something different but you feel like you’re going nowhere without progress?
Relax! We are all in different situations but every working mom needs the right mindset to take it all on. To cheer you on your tough days, I think you need some encouraging words to get you in the groove. Here are some motivational quotes I’ve collected to give you a little extra encouragement to get through the day.
1. “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” – Theodore Roosevelt
Set a goal. Believe in yourself. All the hard works and sacrifices will be worth it until it’s done.
2. “There is no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one.” – Jill Churchill
Being a mother is a tough and tireless job. Don’t doubt your ability as a mother. There are a million ways for you to do something for your family.
3.“There is no perfect way to be a good mother. Each situation is unique. Each mother has different challenges, different skills and abilities, and certainly different children. What matters is that a mother loves her children deeply” – Elder M. Russell Ballard
Motherhood is never easy. Every stage has unexpected challenges. From pregnancy, giving birth, getting them ready for school, guiding them for choosing their careers. Mother’s love is unconditional and will never give you up in every situation despite the trials and the lessons.
4.“Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had and dealing with fears you never knew existed” – Linda Wooten
You had never thought that becoming a mother can show you an image that you had never seen before. You’ll understand more if you’re already a mother. There is so much that goes into becoming and being a mother. We become strong, even stronger than we were before, and that is a testament to the love we have for our children. That strength is something to be in awe of; it teaches us and our kids, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
5. “The most precious jewels you’ll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children.” – Anonymous
No matter what kind of jewelry you own – gold, silver, diamonds, or pearls, nothing will ever substitute for the value of a child. Giving them a life can only add value and meaning to your existence. It is a selfless act with immeasurable worth.
6.“To the world, you are a mother, but to your family, you are the world” – Unknown
This a sweet reminder that you must celebrate being a mother every day. They go above and beyond to love and care for their children. They hold the family together. They are the strongest, warmest, and most devoted people in the universe. That’s the power of motherhood. Yes, you’re one of them!
7. “Successful mothers are not the ones who have never struggled. They are the ones who never give up, despite the struggles.” – Sharon Jaynes
Being a mother is one of the most rewarding challenges in life, it’s also one of the most difficult. A mother’s love for their child is enduring and unconditional. The majority of us spend hours of our lives worrying about the choices and decisions we make — from the way we feed our baby, to the school they attend. We drive ourselves almost insane over some pretty inconsequential variables as we dream dreams for them that are bigger than those we ever had for ourselves. Unfortunately, for some mothers like me who are taking care of a kid with special needs, worries about obtaining the best life, the best medical care, and simply about keeping our children alive. We have to find gargantuan reserves of strength and resilience from deep within ourselves, to dig deep enough to find an abundance of positivity to create better lives for them.
8.”Motherhood is a choice you make every day, to put someone else’s happiness and well-being ahead of your own, to teach the hard lessons, to do the right thing even when you’re not sure what the right thing is…and to forgive yourself, over and over again, for doing everything wrong. – Donna Ball
Most mothers are giving, loving, and cheerful especially to their children. They have the ability to brighten your day, to see the good in you, and to stand by you no matter what. They make their children the top priority. They teach why it’s important to be kind, accepting, and loving. They are brave and smart in so many ways.
9.”The joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction.” – Elder M. Russell Ballard
It means that you should live the moments of being a mother. If you did not live in the moment enough you’ll regret it. Down moments or happy moments, just keep going.
Time spent with family is always a positive investment. You are very lucky to be a work at home mom. You will always enjoy spending time with your little ones. Don’t give up on every situation. It’s okay not to be okay sometimes. Tough times are always part of motherhood.
