Many people believe in destiny and I can say that I’m one of them. It started when I was 12, a sign came to my mind that says that person who is destined to me has a name that starts with letter A and surname that also starts with letter A. I know I was too young at that time and I didn’t take it seriously.
After 4 years, I went to Manila to study college. I also joined the varsity team at that university. One of the new varsity player asked me to help him to fill out his enrollment form because he forgot to bring his pen and when I asked his full name (tadaaaa!!) it starts with AA. Who would have thought that the guy in front of me was the guy that I was waiting since I was 12.

I didn’t tell him about it because it was so embarrassing but without realizing, he and I became close friends. We were very comfortable with each other and we share the same interests. We became a couple and that’s where I started to get to know him more.

I thought that meeting my destiny will be the happiest thing that will happen to me but while we were together, I started to doubt if he is really the one that I’ve waited for. We faced a lot of challenges, we had a lot of fights. A lot of dramas and so on. But one thing that I have learned is that destiny is also a choice. And despite all the difficulties that we had, I am still choosing him. He may not be perfect and so am I, but we both know that we are perfect for each other and we ready to face every challenges hand in hand.
Love is our true destiny. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone we find it with one another.
