It is almost insane to say this, in the middle of pandemic and all but worrying solves nothing, most of the time it worsens things. I remember when I was a child, the only thing I worry is what time my mother will sleep in the afternoon, so I can escape to play outside. Funny how things escalate as I grow older, I tend to worry about a lot of things, sometimes unnecessary things that would cause me a great amount of time and pain.
I worried about how this pandemic will affect my work, since I am working on a cruise line, we are greatly affected, unnecessary travel is prohibited until now and I do not know when will it resume or will it ever resume. I worried about the weather, I worried about the price of prime commodities which consistently going high, but my income is plunging, I even worry about my cat who does not want to pee in her cat litter. From big things to the smallest things, I worried.
Not until I realize that these worrying stuffs happening inside my head, will take me nowhere near my desired life. That is when I started exploring my options, regarding on how to change my mindset to achieve my goal. Let me share with you the mentality that I adapt to achieve a worry free life.
You do not gain anything from stressing and worrying about things you cannot change
Sad truth in life is this, you have no control over many of the things that happen in your life. Some people who resist this truth become control freaks, they worry every time they lose control. Let every situation be what it is, instead of what you think it should be.

I think we do always think we have a whole lot of time. A lot of time to put things off, a lot of time to do things later, a lot of time to make our life miserable by worrying about simple things. Why waste the time that we are given each day to worry. It truly is a waste of time. Be where you are, otherwise, you will miss your life. We are here, right now. Enjoy it.

Do not try to fix whatever comes in your life. Fix yourself in such a way that whatever comes, you will be fine. As the famous quotes says, “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain”. Every time you encounter difficulties stop worrying, instead think of how to better yourself to face whatever problem ahead.
Recognize that worrying is not helping you but draining your energy and stressing you out.
Every time we worry, we lose our ability to think straight. Our mind is like water, when its turbulent it is difficult to see. When it’s calm everything becomes clear. Worrying most of the time make the situation worse, focus on the solution not the problem.

We cannot control the outcome of life, no matter how much we try to mold it into our liking. We cannot cling on to things in the past, fear the future or rewrite the uncontrollable. So, what is the reason of worrying? Most of the best things happen effortlessly when we stop the negative thoughts in our mind.
When you successfully change your mindset and stop the worrying voice inside your head. One day you will wake up, you are in this place where everything feels right. Your heart is calm, your soul is lit, your thoughts are positive, your vision is clear. You are at peace, at peace at where you have been through and at peace with where you are headed.
