Motherhood-Thoughts of a TEENAGE MOM

When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.” —Sophia Loren

My Motherhood journey starts way back 2007 when I was 16. Too young and too late to realize that being a mother is not easy as it looks, but then no regret at all. Seeing my first born at the very first time is full of happiness, and nervousness at the same time.

Can I be a good mother? Can I teach Him well? How Am I able to do it? That’s just a few of a hundred of questions running on my mind. It’s not easy, but we have a mother’s instinct inside us just waiting to be unleash.

“You’re always going to wonder if you’re doing things wrong, but that’s what it means to be a mom, to care so much about someone else that you just want to be as perfect as possible.” —Naya Rivera

I am now a mother of four adorable boys that making me busy and motivated everyday of the week. I can’t imagine how did I made it this far, A mother’s love is unimaginable. My first born now is turning 13 this coming July, he’s even taller than me LOL. How time flies so fast.

Motherhood journey is not easy at it looks, everything you do is a reflection to your little one. we need to think not only for our selves, but we put them first instead, everything now is about them. Despite of all the hardship and trials we remain calm and stronger for the sake of our children. Seeing them happy and well is one of our precious desire. Their happiness and success is our energy pill, seeing them unwell hurts us the most.

I have a lot of failure in my life but being a mother at my very young age is the most precious moment happen in me. Every day they are making me more stronger and motivated. As my children gets bigger my dreams for them are also growing. My eagerness to give them a better future makes me more excited to learn new things. Now, I am more confident and contented because of them.

Teaching them to be a good person and a God fearing human being is one of the most important things every parent should do, knowing that our kids is growing with the Lord in their heart is priceless! This is one of my favorite bible verse “Train up a child in a way he should go:and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”Proverbs 22:6

At the end of the day, we are a Mother praying that our children will always be safe and away from harm and sickness, specially in this time of pandemic.
