Proverbs: 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
My eyes are swollen. My eye bags are getting worse every day. I am lack of sleep. I was always in deep thoughts. I trust no one and that no one would ever trust me again. I am scared. I lost my business. I lost my friends who were also my business partners then. I went bankrupt and lost a lot of money. I lost our family’s personal savings, our investments. I sold our cars and we’re in deep debt. No one knows me after a fall. I almost wanted to die. I’m a loser that’s what all I can remember. I almost have nothing. Nothing was left for me. Most of my friends, my colleagues, and some of my relatives left me, except for my Family.
We all have our struggles in life but mine is just mind-blowing. I never knew that all of these were going to happen one day after we put up our business with our closest and trusted friends. Who would have taught that one day it will come to an end? Failure is just one of the worst feelings to experience. When things go wrong and failure is the result, there’s always a reason.
Failure is a necessary and inevitable part of life. If we do not fail, we will never learn how to pick ourselves back up again and be stronger because of it.
How can we best prepare to come back after a failure?
- Seek God First
Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
God never leave us. He’s always there for us. He always has his ways on us. Let us not forget that we have God in our lives who will help us and lead us to his way.. to the right way. Remember, that God has promised never to leave you alone.
- Changing our mindset
“A challenge only becomes an obstacle when you bow to it.” – Ray Davis
It may be difficult to accept failures but we don’t have to dwell on it. Let us change our mindset and be positive at all times. Let us make our family the inspiration to strive harder and come back stronger. The last thing on our mind is how much we’ve learned from it.
- Find your passion and Begin something new
“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” — George Eliot
I never give up on my dreams. My dreams to succeed no matter how hard it is. I’ve been through worst and I had enough. Now is the time to get started on something new. I can say that I found it here in FHMoms group.
- Stay busy
“It’s not about “having” time. It’s about making time.”
Create a new challenge. I keep myself busy by enrolling in an online course like the GVA training. The concept here is to broaden my horizons, learn a new skill, add to my knowledge, and bring me in contact with others. We must expose ourselves to learning opportunities of which there are many.
- Hope for the best and Envision success
“ No one can go back and start a new beginning but anyone can start today and make a new ending ” – Maria Robinson
Let us all start seeing ourselves succeeding. Envisioning success is a great part of being successful.
Life is too short to let the fear of failure stop you from pursuing your dreams and living your best life. I thank the Lord our God for giving me strength through my family. Yes, it took me years to overcome and accept but I have to focus not on my failures instead, focus on my dreams.
