One Step At a Time

Your first step…
It doesn’t need to be through the finish line right now.
You don’t need to a taste victory right away.
You don’t need to be “good” right away.
You don’t need to know everything right away.
No need to move out and move on right away.
You don’t need to be in a relationship right away.

God positioned you – right where you are — for a specific purpose — despite your condition. Don’t escape where he put you, embrace it. Enjoy the process. Endure the hardships. Don’t rush, just trust. That’s your season now, maximize it.

If you are a mom, take your time and enjoy every moment with your kids. If you are a student, give your best in your studies. If you are a barista, serve every caramel mocha unto the Glory of God. If you’re single, the time will come when you can be in relationship. When you are ready for the responsibilities. For Now, it’s not your season yet.

If you’re failing that’s okay. Learn from it. When tripped, just rise up. You just made a mistake but it doesn’t mean you lack value in the sight of God. His Grace is sufficient for you.

If you’re brokenhearted now, God is near to you. Let His peace rule in your heart. Be patient with yourself as you get to know the how’s of things.

Whatever season you are in right now, just enjoy. Be faithful with it. Maximize everything you have.

Again, one step at a time…
Live in the now. There’s no need to rush, but fully trust in the lover of your soul.

In Proverbs 3:5–6,

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
