What’s your Big DREAM?

What was your big dream before you become a mother? Or maybe before you become a parent? Is there anything that you regret?

These are some of the questions that sometimes pop in my head, it doesn’t mean though that I’m not happy with my life right now, but somehow, I would ask myself “What would my life be if I’m still single? or Will I be happier if I did pursue my dream?”

I was once a young high school student who wants to become a theatre artist. But my parents didn’t agree. Most of us in our family are either a teacher or a soldier. They never thought that I’m going to be an actress someday.

But I still have to move on. I went to college and took a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree until I met my husband. I didn’t get to finish my studies because I became a mother at a very young age. We had children and as they say, the rest is history.

But what if, I did fight for what I wanted? or maybe graduate with a different degree and pursue my dream to become an actress? Maybe, I’m one of those successful actresses known today locally and internationally or maybe not? But what I do believe is this.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

God has plans for me. I’m still thankful for what I had experienced in life because it made me stronger and it made me the person that I am today. I may not be a successful actress but I am a mother, a wife, and a career woman. I can still share my talent with my children and inspire them to be the best version of themselves. I believe that God has a lot more in store for me and one day, I am going to reach my success just like the others.

How about you? What’s your own story of your big dream? Come and share your story with me. Comment down below and let’s talk about it.

Have faith! ‘Til next time…
