What is Online Shopping? Wikipedia says, online shopping is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the Internet using a web browser.

” Crying is for plain women. Pretty women go shopping.” – Oscar Wilde

Who doesn’t love online shopping? Who doesn’t hate it? With the use of our gadgets, applications and internet connection, this online shopping is really a BOOM! Buying and selling of almost everything is just a click a way; adding to cart and checking out once decided. Nowadays, online shops offers free shipping of items with a minimum amount of purchase. Discounted vouchers and promo codes are also a success for this kind of business. The most popular marketing strategy nowadays is the monthly sale like 10.10 or 12.12 grand sale. Finding items that are more affordable than the ones in the physical store. Paying made it easy with modes like online transfer, remittance and cash on delivery. Top reasons for online shopping are convenience, price, and deals.

But with its popularity, comes the hate due to some dissatisfaction. Quality is sometimes questionable; as the saying goes “You get what you paid for”. Due to bulk transactions, missing and mishandled parcels are common concerns of both the buyer and seller as well as delays in delivery of items. Returning items and refunding payments wee also becoming stressful for all parties.

With this love and hate of online shopping, we should take responsibility with our actions. Asking questions to sellers for item clarifications and replying to clients’ inquiries. Following up and updating will make more easy for everyone. Let us make it a hassle free transaction.

Will you marked yourself safe or unsafe this coming 12.12 Grand Sale? Enjoy online shopping.
