We visited the “Queen City of the South” last September 2018. It was a 3 days trip and our first destination was the Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. It was over 170-hectare property features more than a thousand animals from 120 different species.
The Cebu Safari was located at Barangay Corte, Toril, Carmen, Cebu. It was 2 and a half hours travel from Cebu City.

PS. Sorry if the photo was too bright.

Here’s a map of the Safari. It was so big and you may get tired of walking but there’s a lot of Safari tram you can ride on. I suggest that you plan a whole day trip here so you can see all the attractions. We spent our morning touring around the safari.
Here you can get a close look with the animals like the giraffes, hyena, zebra and so much more. You can also walk with birds if you go inside their Aviary Dome. There’s also a bird show from Wednesday to Saturday. I’m not sure if it was free or already included in the entrance fee.
A very nice view from the Safari Entrance and their Michael’s Garden.
You also do not have to worry if its lunchtime. There’s a five restaurant here you can choose from. They serve Filipino and Western food. There’s also a pizzeria. We spent our lunch at the Base Camp for the buffet.
So that’s how we spent our first day in Cebu.
