“A house is not a home without a dog”

When I was young I was so afraid of dogs. I can still remember the time when I was walking outside the house and saw an angry dog running so fast that I wasn’t able to move aside and it bumped me. I fell down and I badly hurt my arm. I ended up going home crying and with a sprained arm. As a child, I thought that all dogs are going to hurt me. But as I grew older I realized how good, friendly and loyal they are. No wonder why they are called “Man’s Best Friend.”

Now, I have three dogs named Bruno, Taylor and Tyzo. Bruno and Taylor are Chihuahuas while Tyzo is an American Bully. I bought Bruno when my daughter was only 2 years old back in 2014, then Tyzo in 2017 and Taylor just February of this year. The reason is because I want my daughter to grow with dogs around her so she won’t be afraid of them like I was before.

They are part of our family. We make sure that we are able to bring them regularly for vaccinations to a veterinary. They even sleep with us in bed. I love my dogs, and I can’t even fathom the thought of losing them. Even my daughter loves them so much she treats them as her siblings.

For those who want to have their own loving dogs, there are lots of people posting on social media that sells them. But of course I would highly suggest to adopt instead of buying them. You can check out CARA Welfare Philippines website if you want to adopt a dog or other pets. I am also thinking of adopting when we have our own bigger house.
