My Weight Loss Journey
I married in 2010 and a year after I got pregnant. 2012, I gave birth to our lovely daughter Amber. For two years she was breastfeeding. Since then, I gained weight and became class 1 obese. Until last year after both two of my siblings gone in a year because of complications in diabetic. I realized that if I want to live longer and be with my family, I have to take care of myself. So, September 2018 I decided to do the Low Carb and Intermittent Fasting and joined the facebook group “Low Carb and Intermittent Fasting™ which is the first and original low carb and intermittent fasting and the largest, most interactive and fastest-growing online low carb community in the country today in the Philippines! We envision an Obese-Free Philippines and we aim to achieve this by helping one obese person at a time achieve health through low carb and intermittent fasting (LCIF) lifestyle. Our goals are to inspire and motivate people to do our way of eating/protocol and make it a lifestyle. Thanks to the founder Mr. Dave Aguila along with his wife Ms. Ara Aguila and moderators of the group.
Now, I am weighing 61 kilos from being obese weighed 85 kilos. The journey at first was hard but if you want it you can do it. Self-discipline and determination is the key. And also with the help of transformation photos shown to the group that made me motivate more to achieve my goal.
I am a full-time housewife aiming to work home-based so that I can still take care of our daughter. And I am ecstatic, thrilled, overjoyed and glorious that I joined Filipina Homebased Moms and decided to enroll in FHMOMS Online University Advanced Course. Because currently, I’m in the Learning Zone and eagerly anticipating to Growth Zone.
Filipina Homebased Moms (FHMOMS) is the first and the biggest parenting and freelancing group for Pinay moms in the Philippines. We are dedicated to help all Filipina moms out there who are aspiring to work from home, be able to land the online jobs they deem of having, through the support group we came up with over Facebook. Through this group, we aim to cater to all the needs of fellow freelance working Pinay moms. Thanks to our founder Maria Korina “Mommy MK” Bertulfo and also to our FHMOMS official trainers. Thank you for the inspiration, motivation, encouragement and continuous learning.
Of course, thanks to the technology and founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerburg, because If not for him I will not have access to these two generous and helpful groups.
