3 churches with breathtaking views near Manila

Have you ever visited churches wherein you can relax and feel the fresh air?

Well, I think I’m lucky enough to visit some of those churches and experienced the cold fresh air and the relaxing feeling that everyone is looking for.

Some churches in the South that I visited with amazing views.

1. Regina Rica Rosarii

Regina Rica Rosarii is located along Marcos Highway at Sitio Aguho, Sampaloc Tanay, Rizal. You will have a great feeling as you go along on the hill and you will find a 71-foot-high an image of our Lady, Queen of the Holy Rosary designed by artist-sculptor Jose Barcena Jr. You cannot enter Regina Rosarii if you are wearing Sando or anything sleeveless. If you are wearing a short or a short skirt they will lend you a long skirt. Aside from attending a mass there are other activities that you can go like the hanging bridge, koi fishpond, El Shaddai Hills, Candle House and the souvenir shop. And when you got hungry, there is the Pasilungan restaurant that serves different variety of food.

2. Caleruega Church

Caleruega church is one of the most popular church for weddings. Maybe because of the historic image that adds on the attractive ambience of the place. You can also roam around Caleruega to grasp Manaoag Drive Via Crusis, Koi fishpond, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, “Thy Will Be Done” Sculpture, Japanese Garden and of course the Garden café for snacks. Please take note that there is a thirty pesos entrance fee and the staff will give you a brochure with the map of the whole Caleruega.

3. National Shrine of Padre Pio

Padre Pio Shrine is located in Sto. Tomas Batangas. This place is perfectly fit in not only for religious people but also for a nature lover like me. You can visit St. Padre Pio Belltower, Chapel of Saints and Baptistry, St. Padre Pio Restory and the Station of the Cross. Some devotees are hanging their handkerchief in the Bukal ng Pag-Asa. Last October 21, 2018 I am one of the devotees who witnessed the incorrupt heart relic of Padre Pio in Sto. Tomas Batangas. I feel very blessed that I was able to experience that moment.

Their amazing sight is just an extra aspect to reminisce. Always remember our main purpose and feel His presence all the time. Those are my top three churches, what’s yours?
